ARL 02 Boys Compete in National League
For ten months the U17 players competed in their National League bracket and also in showcase tournaments. See the highlight video here of their passing and patience. See the video.
The play to advance to Nationals was not easy. The team was in good position during the first National play series in December in North Carolina but then the arrival of a snowstorm shortened play. We then went to Disney late December, played EDP through the Spring and had to have a determination match in St. Louis Memorial Day (see our group photo after the rainy win.) See the record here.
With 8 of the top teams qualifying for Nationals, Arlington has an * by its name as the returning champions. We are in Group B and will compete against teams from California, Oklahoma and California. See the Kansas schedule here.

Since we qualified for National Championships again, we have been participating in the Arlington Soccer Give Back program by working at summer soccer camps, and helping out where we can.
